Library 51

This is something new that I am trying. You might be thinking, "why isn't he doing what he said that he was going to do in his first post?" Well hear me out, I just want to give this a shot.

Now this post will be going to anyone that is interested in taking library 51. Also if being a librarian is what you want for a career then I definitely recommend that you should take this class. It is a library class that I took at City College of San Francisco. The teachers name is Mr. Kox. He is an awesome teacher, he has a great sense of humor, he is not strict at all. The homework that you get from him is very easy. There are not many quizzes that he gives you through out the semester. Also to my knowledge there were no test that he gave to the class, just the mid semester final and the end of the semester final. There were some group activities that we did in the class, he would hand out some books and we would have to put the books in alphabetical order by the authors last name. We got to learn different library catalogue websites to use if we ever need to find a book online. He uses his computer and screen and projector to show us how to use online library catalogues. It is important that you should take notes in his class because then it will help you prepare for his quizzes and finals. He will give you many handouts, I recommend that you keep them, especially the blue one that says "Library of Congress Classification System" that one will definitely help you out in his class. Another thing about his finals, you get to use your notes, which was a big help for me, and I hope that it will be for you. You will learn a lot in the first semester. It goes by really quick.

In conclusion, this class was a lot of fun. If being a librarian is what you want to become then this is the class that you should take.
