The Walking Dead Midseason Finale Review: "Too Far Gone"

Wow just wow. Everything that happened in "Too Far Gone" really went "too far" pardon the pun, but in a good way people. We got a lot to talk about here in this episode. So lets do this! (SPOILER ALERT: if you haven't watched this past Sunday's mid season finale episode do not read this review! You have been warned!

Let the battle begin!
When you see the tank at the prison you knew that things were about to get crazy. We were going to get the big war between the two major groups. Which we should have seen in Season 3. Someone was going to die in this episode. The question is: who is going to die? Sadly Hershel died. To me he was the "Yoda" of the group. The wise one, the calm and collected person, and a great role model to everyone. Of all the characters to die I honestly thought Michonne was going to die by her own sword from Brian aka The Governor. I know she's a fan favorite but due to the fact that she was searching for him earlier this season to get revenge on him and she killed Brian's zombie daughter from last season, you'd think he would kill her. But we did see her stab Brian right through the chest, which was a glorious sight to see. This show needed to pick up the pace and this midseason finale showed it still has guts to take incredible risk.

Watch out Megan!
Speaking of which; did you see the zombie come out of the muddy ground and bite Megan and then the Governor shooting her in the head or how about Lizzie shooting Alisha right in the face; Daryl putting a grenade in the tank; Carl using the rifle to protect his father; Maggie's will to keep on fighting to remember her father. There was tons of action packed moments throughout this episode.

Lets talk about the Rick and Brain's confrontation. We knew from the two episode story arc about Brain, how he was trying to change to become a better person, transforming in a more positive state of mind, so that he wouldn't go back to his bad ways as the Governor. We all knew in the back of our mind that, that really wasn't going to happen. Rick tried to make peace with Brian and his group. He even gave them the opportunity to drop their weapons and come to the other side where they can all "live together". But once you saw Brian's point of view, looking at Rick, and him saying "Liar", you just knew everything was going to go downhill from there.

My Final Thoughts:

Is Lizzie the real killer in the group? I say this because Carol was the one that taught her and the children to protect themselves earlier this season. So does that mean banishing Carol was a bad idea overall? What happened to Judith, Beth Judy and all the other survivors, are they still alive? Will the group find each other in the next part of season 4? Overall, this midseason finale brought it's A game and I liked it! I hope you enjoyed it too! February cant come fast enough!

Don't be shy, come on by to aMc.

On the corner of Valencia and McCoppin, aMc based at a parking lot that is noticeable to bikers, walkers, drivers, but for people (like YOU) that have never been at those corner streets you will be pleasantly surprised to see people walking around planning out events, socializing, looking like hippies (lol), relaxing, enjoying the sun, and welcoming anyone to everyone to be apart of aMc. It's all intersecting the Mission, Soma, and Civic Center areas.

Here We Go

Why hello there. Haven't done this in a while. A good stretch of the fingers, typing on my keyboard. It's been a while since I've done this... this blogging, haha. So much has happened since I last posted anything on this here blog of mine. I've traveled to the other side of this here beautiful planet we all call "earth". Got to see things that I thought I would never see in my life. Met people that I now consider to be apart of my family. I've done so many things since I was last on here. So many positive, amazing, wonderful, spectacular moments and memories I have created since last year. Plus living in San Francisco, yes I still live here. Being in this beautiful city is changing me. I have gone through ups and downs while living here and that's helping me be the man that I am now. My friendships are growing each day, meeting new people is a unique experience because you don't know what they will be like, which makes it exciting for me. Alas, with all the positive things going on in my life, there is death. The grimm reaper has been knocking on my family's door lately. Two family members of mine have passed away this year. That's all I'm going to say for that. Now the future. I want to create my own "personal brand". I'm still figuring out what that will be, but, I like to promote and advertise, publicize anything to everything. I strive to make an impact in this world that we all live in. Also, I'm going to get back into doing what I did when I first started doing this blog, writing my own reviews on movies, tv shows, and comic books! (that last one may take a bit longer to do then the first too) I'll be taking my time writing my own reviews, so they may not be up right after when the show airs ala (Arrow, Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.LD, Once Upon a Time exc) That's it for now. I'll see you all again soon.
