That's right I'm back. It's been a couple of weeks but here I am, back in blogging action. I've finally settled in SF and I'm loving it here. I may not post a lot of reviews, school is in session, but I'll try my best to get at least one post per month. All my seven roommates are crazy fun. I am still friends with the people I met from last semester and I am creating new friends as well :) .
Thats right everyone, I am moving on out to San Francisco. Words can not describe how much I will miss Lafayette. So since I am moving out I will not be writing reviews. I'll get back to writing reviews when I am settled in San Francisco. Until then I would like to thank everyone who has viewed and commented on my blog. That means a lot for me, so thank you very much ^_^.
In the words of the great D.J. MacHale (author of the AMAZING Pendragon series)
In this episode we see that Daphne gets her powers back by the help of her family. Further in the episode we see her run for President in her high school. Jim and Stephanie get new friends Dave and Michelle. They became friends when Jim saved Dave's life. We soon learn that Michelle is the art thief that has been stealing all the paintings from the museums. She eventually turns herself in to the police. J.J's and and Natalie's relationship is improving. We find out that Joshua aka "The Watcher" is not completely evil. If you remember in the past episodes he was always killing people and he has a girlfriend, Katie. Speaking of Katie, she told Joshua that she was a virgin, but she finally gets to have sex with Joshua in this episode (^_^), and later finds out that he has been spying on the Powell family. Uh-o, to be continued.....
Final Verdict: I thought this episode was good but not fantastic. The only good things that I liked about this episode was the relationshp that Jim and Stephanie had with Dave and Michelle and Katie and Joshua. I hope the next episode will be a lot better than this one. I give this 7 out of 10.
In this episode Mitchell and Cameron meet a new neighbor Barry. We eventually find out that he is not a new neighbor, instead he has been living in Lilly's princess castle. Calire try's to stop a speedster in the neighborhood. Phill is trying to sell a house to a client. We learn that client is the speedster that Claire is trying to stop. Jay teaches Manny how to ride a bike, but then we learn that Gloria can not ride a bike either. By the end of the episode Gloria and Manny know how to ride a bike, Calire gets to meet her speedster face to face, and that Barry is homeless.
Favorite line from this episode:
Jay says: "Didn't you teach him how to ride a bike". Glory says: "How could I don't know how to ride a bike." Jay says: "Two thirds of my house can't do what a billion Chinese people do."
Final Verdict: This was hilarious. I am so glad that this show is back on TV again. I can not wait for the next episode. I give it 10 out of 10.

A comedy, drama, and historical film, directed by Tom Hopper. Starring Collin Firth and Geoffrey Rush. "The Kings Speech" is on of the best movies of 2010. It begins with the cowardice of a prince and ends with audacity of a king.
World War II is upon us in this film. The people of England are looking for inspirational words from there king. Well sadly England's king George VI (Collin Firth) has speech impediment (aka he stutter's while talking). So he can not give his rally speech to his people right away.
He and his wife (Helen Bonham Carter, who later becomes Queen of England) go see many therapists that can help him cure his stuttering. Many of the therapists tried but could not cure him. Except for one Aussie therapist played brilliantly by Geoffrey Rush. When Rush and Firth first meet each other they dislike each other, but with Rush's methods of curing Firth's voice and helping him with the speech that impacts all of England and the movie itself, they soon become best friends and a comedy duo that will make you laugh out loud.
Even though it is the friendship of these two men that are the heart of the film we can not forget that Michael Gambon and Guy Pearce (who are very well know actors) play supporting roles as members of the royal family. It's always good to see these actors involvement, and "The Kings Speech" is no exception.
Final Verdict: I'll say it again "The Kings Speech" is one of the best movies of 2010. Now that's a lot coming from me, since I love action, adventure, si-fi, and fantasy movies. This film is not one of those. For me this movie was easy to follow and understand. This movie sets out everything it needs to do. When I was leaving the theater, I felt like, actually I don't know how I felt, because it was that good of a movie. :) If I had to pick an emotion or a feeling of this movie I would say "this movie is worth an Oscar". I give this 10 out of 10.
In this episode we see McGarret try but fail to defeat the burglars that steal his father toolbox that had evidence of McGarrett's mother's murder. Talking to the rest of the members of Five-O, McGarret tells them that he only talks about the toolbox to them. Then he realizes that he has mentioned the toolbox to his sister, Mary. McGarret and Danno find out that Mary has been kidnapped. They eventually rescue her, and then she heads back to Las Angeles. We get to see the killer of McGarrett's mother. We get to see McGarret and Wo-Fat face to face, which was a surprise for me. We find out that Hiro Noshimuri has been the one that has been destroying McGarret life, and family. Also, he is friends with the governor of Hawaii. McGarret gets to arrest Hiro and Hiro's brother who killed McGarret's mother dies in a car accident at the end of this episode.
My favorite quote of this episode: McGarret says to Danno: "I want to know everything there is to know about Hiro Noshimuri, I want to know every business he runs, who all his employees are, his family members, every friend, I want to know where he eats and sleeps, I want to know all. We are going to tear into this guys life and rip it all apart." Danno says to McGarret: "I have never liked you more then this moment right now its beautiful." This pretty much starts Five-O investigating Hiro Noshimuri.
Final Verdict: This episode starts off with a bang, or should I say a stun. There was a lot of action in this episode. I really like the cliff hanger of this episode. The next episode should be a lot of fun. If you love crime TV shows, then Hawaii Five-O is the show for you.
If you are reading this and have already seen this movie, then keep on reading. If you are reading this and have not seen this movie, then there will be a lot of spoilers below. You have been warned.
Now some critics think that Dickie Eklund (Christian Bale) was the star of this movie. I disagree with that. All of these actors and actresses did a fantastic job in their roles.
This movie, taken place in Lowell, Mass 1993, tells a true story about how "Irish" Micky Ward (Mark Wahlberg) a struggling boxer who gets one last opportunity to become the Welter Weight Champion, a match that can restore his crazy family. Dickie his half-brother and his trainer, used to be a famous boxer, but has now gone into being a drug attic. Dickie is the favorite son that his mom Alice (Melissa Leo) likes between him and Micky. This family also has many sisters and boy are they nasty. If you were to say this family was a "normal family", you would be dead wrong about that.
After the event of Dickie getting arrested, and Micky getting his hand hurt while trying to save him, Micky comprehends that he needs to separate from his brother and mother. He loves them, but their insane behavior is not helping him get his last shot on becoming a famous boxer. He becomes encouraged by his girlfriend Charlene (Amy Adams) to rebuild himself and his family. She is HOT by the way.
Even though people may think of this as just a boxing movie, it's more then that. Though there might be fighting in the ring, there is also fighting outside of it. For example. Alice and her daughters think that Charlene has taken too much control over Micky's boxing career, so they go over to where Charlene and Micky are living and all get into a fight. Another example is when Leo (Jack MeGee) (who does a great job in being the husband of this lunatic family) is getting hit by pots and pans by his angry wife Alice because he didn't tell her that Micky was getting a new manager.
Director David O. Russell does a great job directing this film. He brings a lot of comedy, action, and drama to this flick. From the beginning and to the end of this film, you truly feel sympathy for them and cheering on Micky to go all the way to become the Welter Weight Champion.
Final Verdict: This movie was very entertaining. I enjoyed it very much. Other critics are comparing this movie to "Rocky" but I have never seen it, so I will not make any comparisons. I predict and hope that many of these actors and actresses will get an Oscar for best supporting actor, or best supporting actress, or best actor, or best actress. We shall see if this comes true. I give this 10 out of 10.
